Irancell Connected Cars’ Introduction in the ۴thTehran International Automobile Exhibition
The 4th Tehran International Automobile Exhibition was held from 16th to 20th May, 2022 (Ordibehesht 27th to 30th, 1401), at the Tehran International Exhibition Center (Shahr-e-Aftab Complex). Irancell Enterprise Business Solutions, Irancell Enterprise Business Solutions participated in this exhibition, focusing on localization of new technologies and providing necessary infrastructures to empower the digital business ecosystem of the country. Following this goal, Irancell unveiled the Connected Car Service in this event.
On Monday evening, at the opening exhibition, Dr. Ali Nabavi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade and chairman of industrial development and renovation organization (IDRO), visited Irancell Pavilion, met and had conversation with Mohsen Yousefpour, General Manager of Irancell Enterprise Business Solutions.They discussed the connected car approach in Iran and appreciated Irancell efforts and performance for providing services related to the connected car technology.
Nabavi said moving towards connected cars and electric cars is inevitable and continued:“ This technology matters a lot, to the extent that disconnected cars won’t be numbered anymore in European and global standards, so we must step toward it and will certainly need the capacities of communication and information Technologies. Here, we are pleased that Irancell was able to take effective measures in this direction.”
On Tuesday noon ,17th May, 2022 (Ordibehesht 27th, 1401), during the second day of the 4th Tehran International Automobile Exhibition, a memorandum of cooperation in the field of connected electric cars was signed between Irancell and Mapna. According to Irancell public relations, this memorandum was signed with the presence of Dr. Bijan Abbasi Arend, CEO of Irancell, and Dr. Mohammad Hossein Refan, CEO of Mapna Electrical and Control Engineering and Construction Company (Meko).
Companies such as Setareh Iran (official representative of Mercedes-Benz in Iran), Arian Motor (official representative of Mitsubishi in Iran), Iran Khodro Industrial Group, Behran Petroleum Company, Pilsan Industrial Complex, Mayan Automobile Group, etc. were also present at the exhibition.
These companies talked to the managers and sales and technical experts of Irancell Enterprise Business Solutions and were interested in collaborating with Irancell for the connected car related technologies and services.
Irancell Enterprise Business Solutions have also held targeted training workshops in the field of connected vehicles on Wednesdays and Thursdays 18th-19th May, 2022 (Ordibehesht 28th and 29th, 1401). By holding these workshops, Irancell makes efforts to facilitate the digital transformation process for related businesses in automobile industry.
